The Deep Dark Wood by Algy Craig Hall & Ali Pye

My Review

Step into the Deep Dark Wood and have yourself a surprising adventure filled with danger and lots of twisting turns!

A super sweet little lady goes into the Deep Dark Wood to visit a friend. Along comes a wolf....and all isn't what it seems. They stumble upon lots of ghastly giants, trolls, witches and maybe even something more terrifying!

Never knowing what to expect at every turn makes this book super surprising and the ending has the biggest unexpected twist of the lot...

The illustrations are gorgeously inviting, with dark and very brooding colours to make things that bit more atmospheric!

The Deep Dark Wood is a seriously mixed-up fairy tale that is unexpected and very moreish!

4 / 5 Stars!
