Hector & the Big Bad Knight by Alex T. Smith

My Review

A new Alex T. Smith book is always a cause for a celebration and celebrate we did after reading this fabulous picture book!

We hoorayed for the unlikely hero - the laughed at hero and the hero that was utterly charming in every way! This story pushes home the little guy can triumph point perfectly!

Hector embarks on a dangerous adventure with his pal Norman (who may or may not be a chicken) and his hanky of useful things - which include Norman's crisps, Granny's umbrella and Hector's scissors. What a great combination if I do say so myself!

Hector and Norman must track down the big bad knight and get back Granny's magic wand! It won't be an easy task and the big bad knight puts them in peril at every turn....

The illustrations are excellent and we marvelled at their big bright brilliance! Seeing the ending will put smiles on faces everywhere!

Hector and the Big Bad Knight is a must read for little people everywhere! It is filled with charm, humour and has a fab little message!

5 / 5 Stars!
